I upgraded my  6.2.2 installation to 6.2.3, 

the 6.2.2 was working fine, but after installation, the css file stopped loading,  it is not that they failed to load as was the case with other posting, but simply they are not loading. The portal, default , skin and module css files, except th mega menu css loaded.

I know it sounds weird, but i tried every browser and disabled the compression, cleared the cache, etc.

I tied the default skin and container, dark knight, but still did not solve the problem. :(

I had a similar problem when I upgraded, the skin structure disappeared and the page source shows that the default CSS is not loading

I upgraded to 6.2.4 without a single error but still getting the same issue.

Issue resolved,

With the previous versions, it was recommend to use the install package for he upgrade.

using the url /Install/Install.aspx?mode=upgrade

The upgrade package from my experience always generated installation errors.

It seem that has been fixed, the upgrade went smooth,just copied the files and run the site and that was it :)

you should use upgrade package, which protects from database.mdf and web.config files being overwritten. AFAIK there are no other differences.
