Hi All,

I have an issue where I have a redirect loop for a page which used to be the homepage. I am running DNN 6.2 changed the homepage of a a portal via admin > pages (which caused an error and made the portal totally unavailable) going into a different portal and changing the homepage via the host > site management solved this but now when I want to view the old homepage I have a redirect loop. I have tried changing the page name which did not help.

Any ideas would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks

Jacques.

Update: If I change the original homepage back to the home page under site setting everything is fine but I need for both my new homepage and old homepage but I need to make the old homepage available so it can be edited with is not being set as the current homepage.

I don't know if i'm getting this right. But i assume you may have a module on the page that is causing the redirection. In this case simply delete the module from tabmodules table and edit your pages as you wish.
I hope this helps.

There's no modules no the page other than HTML modules. I do have iFinity Friendly URL provider installed though.

I'm not familiar with iFinity url friendly url.

But this happened to me several times and was caused by either a module on the page that is causing redirection (even if it's only html, which you may wish to check its syntax) or by the page name which was set the same as an aspx page on the site.

You should check these 2 cases. If i can remember any other i'll let you know.
