Hi everyOne,

I have a old website that is not in dnn. I am going recreate this site in dnn.

In old websites there is forums.

I installed dnn forum in new website , But i need the old forums also.

How to copy old forums into new dnn forum module.

I cant see any codes in the desktopmodules/forum module all are dlls i think,

Is there any way to copy old datas into new dnn forum module?

Hi Shanoj C P,

The obvious answer is to import your old data into the Forum tables in your SQL database of your dnn installation. There is an extend set of tables there to fill.

But, probably it is not a very good idea to do that. It is a bit complex since also user management is involved here. I would make a export your data from you old site, change it in an texteditor to HTML and post it as an FAQ in a blog or something and start all over again.

In time you can manually enter the most important threads yourself in the new site.
