Hello,

I have upgraded to version 6.1.3 and am having some trouble with creating links on the website. I get an error when I try to use the Telerik Editor, the FCKeditor hides the link box behind the 'Edit Content' box so I am unable to choose a link. So I am forced to use the Radeditor. However I am having 2 problems with the RadEditor

  1. There is no LinkClick functionality and hence after choosing a file, the direct link is displayed (for e.g http://Websitename/Portals/0/crystaltech.jpg) instead of http://websitename/LinkClick.aspx?fil...
  2. If I go to edit the link and if i happen to hit the 'Anchor, email or tracking' tab and then come back to the 'Hyperlink' tab, I lose the original link and the box is empty.

I would like to have the LinkClick functionality back and if possible a way to use Telerik or FckEditor.

Thanks
Mel

I suggest using CKEditor provider (download from http://dnnckeditor.codeplex.com), which allows you to specify, whether you'd like to use a direct link or LinkClick.
Please uninstall old FCKEditor for security reasons.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for your reply. So I did as you said and installed the CkEditor. When I specify in the link box, it adds the Linkclick functonality, however when I open up the link, it still displays the direct link even though I have specified the secure URL option. I have also uninstalled  FCKEditor. Any thoughts?

Thanks much
Mel
