When I view the available pages for setting the splash page, the page I have created is not on the list.  The other pages I have created are there, and the difference is that the splash page is a standalone HTML file uploaded to the site, not created with DNN, pointed to from a page I set up in DNN called Splash.  I have tried letting it show in the menu and removing it, no change.   I am running 6.0.

Any ideas?  Thanks!

why don't you use a blank skin with a full page HTML module as a splash page? if you want to display during DNN loading time, you need to fire your splash page BEFORE calling DNN.

Using a blank skin was my first thought, actually, but there doesn't seem to be an option for a blank skin.  I ended up doing one up in Notepad and FTPing it into place.  Right now, I have it set as the homepage - I don't understand why I can make it the homepage but not a splash page.

as long as its the home page, it cannot be configured to be the splash page.

Of course, they are mutually exclusive.   For the short-term, I have the splash page set as the homepage.  I would like to switch the homepage setting back to the real homepage, once I figure out how to get the splash page set.  Danke, sehr!
