The source code dowload available on that CodePlex link is complete. The install file is also complete, compiled and ready to install just like any other module.

The module template is provided as part of the training series for you to self-complete the required files because actually doing provides a stronger learning base than copy and paste.

I would encourage you to continue to type the code into the empty module template yourself if you want to learn how to create your own modules. When I went through this, I watched each video all the way while following along in a copy of the full source code, then I went back and started again at video 3 with the module template open in an Administrator session in VS and the full source code open in a normal VS session in the background.

I'm trying hard to follow you, Bill, but I still can't see it...

I "unpacked" the current "zipped" Dotnetnuke install module, and looked through all of its contents. I did not find a "full and complete" TASK.CS file (for instance) in its contents.

Can you please provide me with either 1) a full and complete copy of the TASK.CS file, which comes as part of the "install" package from Codeplex, containing all the code it needs to function successfully in the DNN environment, or 2) the location (either within the DNN install or within the Codeplex "cloud" environment) of such a file ???

Thanks so much for your help, Bill.

Jeff

Hi, Bill (and William).THANKS for sending me that source-code. Not sure I ever would have found it...As it is, I'm not sure I'm glad I asked for it, because (I didn't know this when I asked) TASK.CS is pretty much all there is to it, and I'm one "noseeme" (bug) away from doing it all myself, and I just spotted the bug; I had "LastModifiedByUserID" instead of "LastModifiedByUserId". But I never would have known that all it amounts to is TASK.CS if I hadn't asked for it.So THANKS for providing it. I do appreciate the help that you and William have been today.Jeff
