Hello

I don't know, if I post this at the right place, but I suppose so.

I have a little Question concerning my Webpage: On top of this page, there is a Banner, which shows our company's logo (http://www.baubuerogmbh.ch). Now we changed our name and I should change the logo aswell. I tried it for several hours, but I couldn't find any solution. Does someone has any idea, how it is possible, to change the logo? Thanks a lot!

Login as admin/host, go Admin--> Site Settings
At the basic settings tab, click the "Apperance" panel, and upload your logo.

That would work if the skin used the logo skin object, but I don't think that's true.

You would have to replace this image: http://www.baubuerogmbh.ch/portals/baubuero/skins/baubuero/images/head.gif

Which is not directly accessible from the admin interface of DNN.
You either would have to upload a skin package with the replaced image, or have ftp access.

@Timo Breumelhof: That was exactly, was I also tried to do, after reading the html-source code :P But as you said, as admin, I haven't access to the page, where the immage is stored. Is there no way for editing the HTML-source code directly? That would be much easier, so I could change the immage-path...

Otherwise I'll have to make a new skin, but I really don't know how to  do this. Do I need special programms for that? And how can I download the old skin for editing (I didn't made it myself)?

Thanks for your great help

The Logo have to changed into the Admin/Sitesettings, if you want to do this hardcoded you have to Change the Skin code on the ascx controls.  This could be done with any text Editor if you know HTML Styling or using other programms eg. Visual Studio or Expression Studio.
