We have security on our site setup so that users are created by what we are calling a security officer.  When the security officer creates a user, the user gets an email with an auto generated password.  The first time they log on with that password, they are required to update their password.  My question is, where is the code that determines what the layout/content of the update password module located?  I would like to update the language, layout, etc.

I've looked all through the code and can't seem to find it, but I am sure I am missing the obvious somewhere.  Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Jay

All static languages could be edit on the language Editor on Admin/Languages after the language pack was installed.

Changing the layout have to be done on your Skin.css file.

update password layout is part of the core, you should stay away from modifications, but might be able using portal.css (stylesheet editor in Admin > Site Settings menu item) to re-position elements.
For text adjustments, go to Languages in Admin menu and select Static Resources edit pen in column "portal", which will bring up langauge editor with default resource file loaded, containing keys for messages sent. others are a bit harder to locate, depending which keys you would like to edit.

I found the .resx page where I can update the text, which is great!  But what I am really trying to accomplish is removing the blue tool tip square boxes from the change password page.  I understand that might be contained in the core, but even removing them entirely from the portal would be fine also.

From digging around, it looks like the dnnHelpText class might be where I need to look?  In the images fiolder there is a file named about.gif - that is what I need to have removed.

Thanks for the help so far...just need a few more answers.

Jay

the tooltip should vanish, if you provide an empty help text in your language.
