Hi guys,

I have a custom module that makes use of addition user profile properties that I have, in the past, added manually to the dnn instance via the admin > user profile manager tools. I am currently updating this module and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to add these addition user profile fields as part of the module install process?

Many thanks for your time,

TimmyG.

Tim,

have a look at the IUpgradable interface. There you can do something like

if (version == "xx.yy.zz)
{
/*
check if profile property is there and if not, add it
using the DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfileController class
*/
}

This has to be implemented in the business controller class.

Best wishes
Michael
