We just launched a site on DNN 6.2.3 CE and after a few days I did a few searches to see if we were returning for a key search terms. I did a search and got a return on the first page but when I clicked on the result I landed on the Send Password page? The return URL in the indexed result is the site's homepage which is the page I was expecting to load.

This is one I've never seen with DNN before. Have I missed something in the site settings on this version of DNN? Is it a bug? HELP!

The same search in Yahoo returns the home page correctly.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It looks like its the same, both load the send password page instead of the homepage which is marked as the active tab in the navigation menu. It does however look like google has cached a version of the page that had a different menu provider, we switched from using the mega menu to the standard provider shortly after the site launched. I wonder if this could have an effect?

I suggest submitting your sitemap.aspx to google and wait for approx. 2 days, until it has been scanned.

I have this same problem on 6.2.3. Even many days after submitting the sitemap to google the "Send Password" page is still indexed. Is there a way to get round this?
