HI There,

 I have a problem using the DDR Menu skin object in DNN 6. We have a page (Members Area) that is only accesible to subscribers, so we've set the permissions on it. But we do want it to appear as an option in the main menu.

I have setup the DDR Menu to use "IncludeNodes" to include the page but when I set the IncludeNodes option, the menu doesn't write out any of the menu items at all. If I remove IncludeNodes then it will write out the all the menu items (apart from the Members Area page). I have tried using both page name and pageid in the includenodes option but both produce the same results. I have also tried using it on other pages that are not available to all users (such as the admin page) but it produces the same results.

Could anyone shed some light on this??

Hi Bill, thanks for the reply.

The Members Area page permissions are set for subscribers only, but we want the menu option to be available to all users and then if you click it and are logged out it will prompt for login info.

When I view the menu, I'm not logged in at all. I'm viewing it as a normal unauthenticated user. I assumed (and I'm sure I've done this in previous sites) that using the IncludeNodes option on the menu will show that page in the menu regardless of permissions.
