Hi,

... must admit that I've had this for a very long time...

But I've just installed VS 2012 and thought I'd get rid of this irritation.

... I can't.

=========

I've followed the wiki instructions (ref : http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/dnntexteditor.aspx ) and I get: "Error Rendering Control.... The file '~/controls/TextEditor.ascx' was not found. "

In order to reference the control in code, I find I have to explicitly define the control :

Protected WithEvents te_Header As DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls.TextEditor

What's the resolution to this?

I guess that, related to this, It would be good to add the DotNetNuke contols into the toolbox... is there a 'how to' for this?

thanks!
Duncan

For those who may have the same same query...

Mitchell Sellers Kindly responded (via his blog site: http://mitchelsellers.com/ ) that this control doesn't have a design-time presentation: So my issue isn't resolveable in that sense... just live with the - ignorable - error!

 Thanks, Mitchell.

 regards,
Duncan.
