Hello,

I have used Web Plaform Installer to install the latest version of DNN Community Edition, all went good, at the end of the installation I got the next Error:

An error has occured. you may uninstall DNN and re-install again, either using Web PI or manually.

Hi Sebastien

 I have uninstalled DotNetNuke, and reinstalled it manualy by following step by step the video tutorial here,

then when I wanted to browse the application using: http://localhost/dotnetnuke to be redirected to http://localhost/dotnetnuke/install/installwizard.aspx I got the next error page:

HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found

The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.

What are your ISS Settings for your application pool ?  Did you uses the integrated mode?  Have the application pool user full permissions to the files and Folders and did you inherit the permissions to all you files and subfolders into the dnn root Directory?  Did you use .NET 4 ?

-Yes I use the integrated mode  Have ?  Did you use .NET 4 ?

- Yes the application pool user had "Modify" permission allowed, and now  it has the full permissions to the files and Folders and all files and subolders into the dnn root Directory inherit the permissions.

- Yes I use .Net 4

And the issue till now remains the same.

Just for information, I installed exactly the same way the same web site on Windows Server 2008 R2 and it run perfect.
