Hi,

I am just starting with Webmatrix.

I have installed DNN using Webmatrix to my local machine. I have published the site with web-deploy to my WebHosts. All good so far.
If I make changes to the site on my localhost, and then publish, the changes are reflected on the remote site (web).

However, how do you get the databases to sync between your local machine and remote server ?
So, if I add a user on my website, it is not there on my local DB even if I publish.

I thought publishing would of sync'ed the databases (local and remote)
Thanks for your help

AFAIK, webmatrix doesn't offer publishing database changes, you may use your local install after publish to test new extensions or ccreate a custom skin, but this is not a solution for content staging. Content should be edited on the live website.
