I am running into a similar issue in 6.2. In my case we are using a "Verified" process but after the user clicks their email verification link our site comes up and shows them contradictory messages, "You are using an unverified account. Please verify your account by clicking on the link contained in the verification email we've already sent to you" and "Your account has been successfully verified." Yuck. I hate to confuse my users like that.

I am trying to figure out if there is a way I can remove or edit that first message but I can't find the resource file that contains it. Does anyone know where that is located?

-something clever or funny.

Using 6.2 we are using a verified registration process. I have "Redirect After Registration" set to a Thank You page. After registering the user goes to the Thank You page properly but there is a system message at the top of the page that says, "You are using an unverified account. Please verify your account by clicking on the link contained in the verification email we've already sent to you." That message is OK, but I would really like to edit or get rid of it but I can't find it in any resource file.

The bigger issue though is when the user then clicks their email verification link and the site comes up with a page containing two system messages that conflict: "You are using an unverified account. Please verify your account by clicking on the link contained in the verification email we've already sent to you" and "Your account has been successfully verified." That's going to confuse my users. How to I get rid of that first message?
