I'm trying to configure the Repository to allow users to upload files that are not intended for download.  Thus, I do not allow any uploaded files to be seen by non-admin users.  Problem is, the user is uploading "blindly" — once the file is uploaded, he completely loses sight of it.  I would love a config setting that allows users to see their own uploads even if they haven't been approved yet.  This would let the user verify his upload, and even delete it and re-submit in the event he realizes he uploaded the wrong one, or wants to send a newer version.  This could have application for students uploading assignments to teachers, consumers entering contests, or any other situation where it is important not only to protect the files from being downloaded, but also to keep other users from even knowing who has or has not uploaded something and what the file is called; yet still allowing the owner of the document to see, track, control, update, delete, and/or re-download it.

Ya know I can see that feature being of use here also (school).  Right now we're using network turn-in folders that allow the student to drag-and-drop a file into a folder, but they cannot open the folder or overwrite their previously turned-in file.  If they want to turn it in again, they have to give it a new file-name.

With our gradual transition to a web-based environment, I can see that function being useful.

excellent idea ... we'll add that to the enhancement list ( boy, it's starting to get long .. I guess that's better than no one using the module and not having any enhancement requests at all )  :)
