Hi All,

I am having DNN version 06.02.04 which is the community version. I created a page as follows: this-is-a-test-for-SEO. It does not save it like that and simply combined all words while ignore the dashes and it became like that: thisisatestforSEO. As far as I understood that was taken care and it mentioned in this blog: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B... where was mentioned as follows:

Removed restriction that would not allow users to use a dash in page names. Now users can create pages with names like "site-map"

I appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

Doron

Rather than making the page name this way, I recommend using UrlMaster or other options to just make sure that the URL's are friendly from the system. As the page name is what shows in the menu and you don't want users to see the dashes on the actual site.

Hi Mitchel,

Thanks for your reply.

I see 2 products that provides Friendly URLs.

Can anybody share their experince with these 2 products found here:

Url Master
http://www.ifinity.com.au/Products/Ur...

and

DNN Master
http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/prod...

Why Can't I use Friendly URLs in the base DNN? I also work with Umbraco and it is right there in the base product. See below web site for Friendly URLs that I am using.

Thanks,

Doron

you may edit url rewrites in dnn core framework, but using UrlMaster by ifinity provides you with a user friendly interface and a bunch of additional options.
