Hello, I am using the language selector skin object in my skin and since we upgraded the version of DNN to the latest stable version, the following code that I am using does not display what I have intended on secondary language pages. It does however work fine on the default language pages.

<dnn:LANGUAGE runat="server" ID="dnnLANGUAGE" ShowLinks="True" ShowMenu="False" ItemTemplate='<a href="[URL]" class="Language[SELECTED]" title="[CULTURE:LanguageNativeName]">[CULTURE:LanguageNativeName] <span class="twoletter">[CULTURE:TWOLETTERISOCODE]</span></a>'/>

Which outputs something visual like this:

English [EN]

French [FR]

But when I am on the French pages, it simply outputs the country flag, with a redirected link to the English counterpart page.

What gives?

oops, obviously I didn't read carefully enough. There might be a bug with the language selector, you may try a 3rd party alternative, e.g. the one from Apollo on codeplex or the one from Interzoic.

At this stage in our website development we cannot switch to another language localization provider. We chose DNN because of its native language module features and we have created quite a large website. This feature as advertised should be working flawless out of the open-source box already, let alone the fact that we are paying for the professional version.
