Best practices of coding a module that will do alot of data manipulation, suck as using a jquery clickable map that is all database driven with accordion jquery div's on the side so...right now i am building the all the divs for all states data and then showing and hiding the div I want to see when you click a state.  This is going to get more dynamic so I am thinking I should probably code this a different way and instead use JSON, do a nightly build of a few json files but isn't there a better way to code this?

Think US Map here with clickable states / on the right side accordion that populates due to what state you click on, then below all this will be more detail of something you click on inside the accordion, what would be the best way to accomplish this...btw I am pulling from atleast 3 different databases while doing this.  I wanted to keep this all happening without using postback and that's why I am leaning on jquery.  Please help!  I can't keep writing all these divs and just show and hide, the page will take too long to load!
