I’m working with the DNN 6.23 banner ads. I’m trying to modify some JavaScript to change the banner ad from the fade effect to the shuffle effect. What am I doing wrong?

Here’s the code in Banner.ascx:

fx: 'fade', //effect to apply to rotation

speed: 1000, // speed of the transition (any valid fx speed value)

timeout: 5000, // milliseconds between slide transitions (0 to disableauto advance)

If fx: 'fade' is changed to fx: 'shuffle', the ads stop functioning.

Are you actually using the full functionality of the vendors / banners module?  If not, you may want to look into the free content slider in the extensions forge.  It has many more options for animation effects.
