Sirs:

I have a DNN 6 site set up with the blog module, and the standard site search is not indexing the blog contents. Oddly, other sites on the same server do not have this issue.

On the main blog page I go into Edit > Module Settings and check 'Enable DNN Search'. This appears to be identical to the other sites where this is working correctly...

Can anyone offer a suggestion?

I am having the same issue. I am currently running DNN 6.2.2 CE with DNN Blog 5.0.0.

However, there is no "Enable DNN Search" with DNN Blog v5 in the settings.

I will be adding a lot of blog content which I need to have searchable, should I move away from DNN's blog module or is there plans to address this in the future?

Please advise.

I have also checked out the settings for:  Host >  Extensions > Blog > Edit. It says "is searchable" and that value is "True".

The description for that option states "Identifies if the module supports the ISearchable interface allowing it to have its content indexed."

In DNN Eventlog, are there any errors reported from indexing?
Otherwise I suggest clearing the search index and re-index from scratch (http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/13...).

Sirs:

I found the reason my search wasn't working, it was something... overly creative that I'd done in the skin a year ago and forgot about.

Chirs:

There are several places in the blog module where you can go to set settings, be sure that you're in the main blog module (not 'search' or 'archives') and be sure that you're in 'Edit > Settings'. That's where the setting is.
