I see it's working here in what I assume is DNN 6.  I'm not sure anyone will have a fix for something that just rolled out in the last day but I wanted to report it.

I have FireFox set to install upgrades automatically.  Yesterday it installed FireFox 17.  Today I had to edit an HTML module in DNN 5.6.3 and I have NO, zero, rich text editor.  The Rich Text Editor button is checked but I have no menu bar and all I can see and edit is raw HTML.  The editor still works in Chrome and IE 9.

I intend to report this to Mozilla but in my experience they won't do much.  If anyone has got a suggestion, I'm interested.

as a workaround, you may install free CkEditor provider (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com)

Hi guys, sorry to borrow your thread here, but it seems Firefox 17 may have killed the native DNN navigation menu for me as well on 5.6.0 PE. I updated the User Agent String already, but that didn't do anything. The menu is displaying, but completely expanded as a full unordered list. All collapse/flyout capability has been lost.

When inspecting the source code, Firefox 17 doesn't seem to load any of the following JS files required for the menu to work either.

It simply stops after the ScriptResource.axd script loads. The rest of the site displays normally.

When logged in as a content editor, the module titles are prefixed with a bullet for some reason as well. Our only recourse may be to find an different nav provider or upgrade to later version of DNN, which doesn't seem to be affected. The latter would be very costly due to the size of the site.

Is there a way to just upgrade the DNN Nav provider?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Vin
