I'm new to DNN. Not even developing this project, but trying to not throw too many programmers under the bus as I plot it out.. I want to have tagging/labelling/commenting system with content types in different modulesI am imagining for this project that events, blog posts, and other content etc can all have user-notes, comments, ratings, favouriting etc. If we're using base DNN modules like events, blog, forums etc is it possible to have external attributes for these things that correspond across all of them.?

At least for modules you write yourself, you can use inter-module communication to provide something like this. Please read this blog to learn more about it, or google a bit for "IModuleCommunicator" and/or "IModuleListener".

Best wishes
Michael
