The authentication works fine with the parent

e.g http://parent/admin/security/windowssignin.aspx

but with the child portal

e.g http://parent/child1/admin/security/windowssignin.aspx

gives the following error:

Server Error in '/' Application.

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

That is pretty much the same thing I ran into, it does the same thing with additional parent portals.

This works:
http://portal1/admin/security/windowssignin.aspx

But this doesn't work:
http://portal2/admin/security/windowssignin.aspx

Although, I must admit, I haven't experimented with this on 4.3.1 yet, this is based off of 4.0.3...

This is due to not being able to create multiple user accounts with the same credentials.  Instead of seeing that there is already a user with the login name and just adding the apropriate row in the UserPortals table, it blindly tries to add another user with the same user name to the Users table.  I edited the source for 3.x to fix this on my side and was hoping that it would be fixed for the 4.3.x release, but it doesn't appear to be fixed.  Looks like it is back to the source code for a fix...

Can I get a copy of your the changes you made.  I have been editing the source as well so that users will be created with a time zone that match the portal.

Anyway, if you could send me over your source change that would be great.
