The Profile fields in the user profile tab of site settings are not displaying(Using DNN7 Pro Trial).  Here is some background to the issue:

I did a fresh DNN install and migrated over 94K users.  I migrated over their profiles(about 3.4Mil rows in the userprofile table).  Everything was fine and the settings that are currently missing were displaying properly.  I then proceeded to add another site which will be a subdomain to the parent portal.  I set up the SiteGroups and it took around 25 minutes to go through its process.  I came back in after the weekend and WHAM! Noprofile fields in site settings.  I can add the fields back, and it remembers the localization of the fields when I get to that step, but then when a user goes to edit their profile, the field is not there under either site.

Is there any way where I can get my users to where they are able to edit their profiles again?

Are you using DNN 7 Release Candidate? there might be an issue, if providing profile properties for Child Portals, I am not sure, whether this has been fixed for the release version already.

DNN version is 07.00.00 (1562).  It doesn't indicate an upgrade is available, so I am assuming it is not the release candidate.

I had something similar happen to me, but on a smaller scale.

It sounds like you wrote your own custom migration script, so some of the IDs must have gotten mixed up.

First, check the visibility of the profile properties.

Then, another way to trouble shoot this is to use SQL Profiler and try to access the profile page as the user. You should see the SQL statements and find out why its not finding them.

This set me on the right track. I did a custom migration and it appears that there is a table that i missed getting some data into(or the process DNN took to migrate the profiles exceeded a timeout that I set). I'm sure that this should be enough to get me solved. Thank you.
