Hello,

I'm new to DNN but have been successfully configuring a new site. My host account had been working properly, but all of a sudden it seems like it's permissions are not correct.

I can log in just find and even see the host menu; however, clicking on many options under the host menu leads to a "page not available" message. Even in the Admin menu, some areas seem to be restricted. For instance, when I visit Security Roles, I can't adjust any. For what it's worth, my admin account can manage security roles successfully.

I'm not quite sure what I did to end up in this situation, but I need host account access again. I'm running a new installation of DNN 6.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

This turned out to be an issue with the SSL setup.

This raising another issue for me htough, how do I force all pages to be SSL in DNN? I've enabled SSL under Admin -> Site Settings, but it does not seem to default new pages to SSL. You must still check "Secure".

Is the best way to simply create a redirect?

I ended up setting up a redirect in IIS. All is good now.
