I am trying to create a custom login module to run on a new portal that is separate from my other portals.  To avoid having my portals show up with multiple ways of logging in I would like to create a custom setting (checkbox) and add it to the Settings Control of the login module so I can choose which login method is assigned to each portal.  (Manage -> Settings -> MyTab -> Check Checkbox)

How can I accomplish this with a Login Module? (Authentication Service)

From what I read I need to add some code to the manifest file but the Login Modules (in Authenticated Services) don't include a *.dnn file.

 Using : DNN 7.0 /  C# ASP.NET

You would need to create your own login provider.

Joe Brinkman blogged about this a while ago, but it should still be relevant.
Just make a copy of the existing provider and modify it.
