Hi Everyone-
I inherited a DNN-based website. The person before me did almost all the layout of modules using tables, if that makes sense. For example:
Temperature Sensor Page
If you scroll down, you'll see where each of the bulleted lists with green check marks is done with a table-1st column is the green check marks (image inserted in each box), 2nd column is the copy, each bullet point is a row in the table, and the 3rd column has no rows, just the column with the image.
To keep things consistent, I did the same thing on a page I created:
UHF RFID page
My problem is, if I edit by deleting a row of a table, things end up misaligned in badly spaced. If you scroll down the above page, you'll see what I mean. I've tried to grab & drag columns or corners, as I would in say Excel, but the change won't "take"- it just goes back to the same table size. I've also tried changing things through "Table Properties" - same issue.....
So, I'm hoping someone can give me some direction on this. My questions are:
1) Is this the best way to set up a module to get this "look"? And where can I find more information on how to do this? I haven't found anything helpful myself either through Google, DNN, or Telerik, which makes me wonder if this is a common technique, or her own unique invention....
2) If not, what is the best way to get a bulleted list, using a custom bullet, with an image aligned with the list. Any tricks for just doing this though the Editor?
I am not a web designer, I have just a rough understanding of HTML, so any help is appreciated!
Susan
