No code release as of yet. We're hoping that it'll be soon though.

Looking forward to it.

I have evaluated the Repository module and the Document Exchange module from Bring2Mind, and prefer the Repository for the way it displays files/content, but I would like to have the nested folder concept of DMX.  Do you anticipate a nested category concept?

I currently have a project where we are creating categorized content based on events, and I suppose we could create a category for each, though this might get to be difficult to manage.  Any suggestions?

As for my original post a while ago under Cross-portal development, I was wondering if anybody has managed to create a simpler method of keeping the content in a repository the same across portals?  I am thinking about making sure that Security Roles are the same name, so that they can be used for hiding/showing content, but wanted to see if there was a more deft way of doing this without having to touch to many tables?

Thanks,
Brian.

The release of the Repository will have the ability to add attributes as a, for lack of a better term, quasi-sub category. EG. You've got a listing of cars. You could add Color as your main attribute and then Red, Blue, Green, etc as the properties. The repository results will then be able to be further refined based on the attributes.

I can't answer whether Steve has looked at using the Repository cross-portal or not.

Thanks Mike.

I'm interested in beta testing any new features you might have.  I'm really serious about integrating this module into our cross-portal environment and have several feature requests that might be more suited to us building it in for our own purposes.

Please let me know how we can get the Repository source for testing purposes.  My email address is brian<remove_this>@onehumanfamily.com.
I also had a beta tester of our portal space mention the need for a search function, is this available in the next version?

Thanks,
Brian.

I hope the source code will be available soon.  Can't wait.  Thanks for a great module.
