Hello,

I have been learning DNN now for about a week and encountered a problem I cant seem to solve by myself.

I installed the DNN Feedback Module 06.02.01 on my DNN website (DNN 7.0.0) and placed the module in the content pane of the default layout. (DarkKnight...)
Everything that shows up on my website is the Module Title "Feedback Comments" and a blue box with the text "There is no published feedback to be shown at this time."

While testing this module under DNN 6.xx everything worked fine and the second module with the contact form showed up properly. How do I get the contact form now?

Did i make a mistake or does this module have problems with DNN 7.0.0?

You can see the website here: http://qr-welt.de/Kontakt/Kontaktformular.aspx
What I did: Looked up Feedback module > Deployed Feedback Module > Added module to Content Pane (completely empty site)

I couldn't find this problem anywhere on google or this forum so I think there may be something I am doing wrong.

Best regards
Julien

The problem is with the new DNN 7 Control Bar panel's Add Module functionality and affects all multiple definition modules such as Feedback, Blog, Store, and my own ePrayer module when adding the module to a page. The issue has already been marked as fixed in DNN 7.00.01 in the Gemini support tracker. Until that version is released you can do the following workaround:

  1. Login as host user
  2. Navigate to Host --> Host Settings, Advanced Settings
  3. Change the control panel type from Control Bar to Ribbon Bar
  4. Update Host Settings
  5. Using the legacy Ribbon Bar's Modules->Add Module command you should be able to add both parts of the Feedback Module to the desired page.
  6. If desired, you may then switch back to the new Control Bar

Thank you for the detailed answer Mr. Severance. Everything worked perfectly and the module is showing up properly now.

Problem solved.
