When upgradeing dnn sites in version 6.1.5 to version 7 of dotnetnuke...

We have a language pack for the version 6.1.5 of DNN. Can that language pack be used to translate also the version 7 of Dotnetnuke, or is that a bad idea?

Does some of you have a language pack in swedish for DNN 7 ?

Regards,
Peter

Well, we did use a swedish language pack for dnn 6 alos in dnn 7 and it worked just fine! We obviously need to translate a few new strings used in the new version but that is not a big work.

there should be no problem using a Language pack for a previous version, there will be a few translations missing (especially in new control panel). You may complete translation yourself by using resource verifier and language editor in Admin > Langauge or e.g. switch to Ribbonbar control panel to get a fully translated control panel.
