I am having this exact same issue on a fresh install of 7.0.2.

I tried the ribbonbar and controlbar both, of course the controlbar doesn't let me go into edit mode at all due to some other bug. I have been using the ribbonbar. I do not have an option for iconbar.

I switched between the two settings and also used the "Clear Cache" button in Host Settings. No change in behavior.

Can anyone suggest anything I could try or check on to clear this problem up? Should I start a new Thread for this request? Thanks :)

Same problem here, 07.00.00 (1586)

I cant go into edit in controlbar (must use ribbon - in case its related in some way)

I cant move a module using either drag drop or action button.I have to DELETE the module (losing all its content/settings) and recreate in the exact position i want it, making it a major pain for my content editors.

Since this cant be done from the UI please inform us where in the database the pane for a module is stored so that i can manually go into the database and change it.

Matt, the database table is TabModules and then the PaneName field.

I have to edit the PaneName field, then goto host settings and clear the cache, then return to the page with the module on it and it should appear in the correct pane.
