I'm a Dotnetnuke member by much time now, and I've carried out a few hundred installations. I'd like to work with the professional version but it has a price out of reach for those who work with small customers.

I do not understand why the sales policy of dnncorp does not provide even a simple subscription well below the $ 1,000 for only download the professional version without provide support and training for who is able to do by self.

I believe that this can interest many people and would make a good income for your business without the slightest effort!

Absolutely agree with you. The barrier is high for small to medium businesses. I'd like to see a "Standard" edition at around $500, with the features of Pro but without support and advanced caching. I could sell probably 2 dozen a year at that price point.

Would be interesting to have an opinion of the Dotnetnuke Team!

Agree, by their very nature, I assume the silent majority are focussed on the community edition.

Small businesses cannot afford the high price of the commercial editions. It is frustrating when DNN Web Seminars refer to nice functional features which are only available in the Professional edition.

A standard edition for $150 (without SLA Support/Training) would generate a lot of extra revenue at relatively no extra cost.
