I had originally surmised that the object qualifier was for this very reason.  I have a few clients (gov't) departments that have shared services (SQL DBs and Servers) and need/want to have it all on one DB.  So I thought I would test.  Also if you pay (and i mean PAY!) per DB then we are always looking for ways to have one server/one DB do more and more all the time.  

But now I know.  

BTW: it did do some funky stuff to the original install, I can be logged in as the superuser and I no longer have access to the HOST menus/items.  SO it is a dead duck.  :)
