Hi,
We're running DNN 4.0.3 with 3.1.9 of the Repository. We are logging a lot of these messages:

Core Localization File Not Found: : /DesktopModules/Repository/App_LocalResources/.ascx.resx

The thing that puzzling me is that it's complaining about a missing resource file with no name. Can someone point me in the general direction of where to look to resolve this? I have all of the source on a development system but this particular installation is sraight from the Install package. Thanks.

That's a new one. I can't remember if it was .9 or .8 but one of them needed a form.ascx.resx in that App_LocalResources folder. You could try that or just create a blank file called .ascx.resx in that directory.

The App_LocalResources folder seems to have a .resx file for each of the .ascx files in the Repository folder. I tried to create an empty '.ascx.resx' file but Windows 2003 doesn't seem to like that (illegal file name). I'll try to reproduce the error in my development system.

I haven't seen this error with a missing name, but I've seen it introduced with 4.0.3 on one of my modules. I remember reading somewhere that it can be ignored (assuming yours is the same error) and this error message will be taken out in 4.3.1.

I would not worry about it unless it is causing functionaility problems (or if it it still occuring on 4.3.1)
