I've followed the Installation PDF and am at the step where I'm supposed to load the wizard.

However, the page loads without styling or images.

I've confirmed the connection key/credentials to my custom SQL Server db are correct.

Thanks for the help.

Earnest,

What's the URL of the last page you can get to? Also, is there anything on the page?

Mark

Hello Mark,

The URL which the PDF instructs me to use is http:/localhost/dotnetnuke which redirects to http:/localhost/dotnetnuke/install/installwizard.aspx.

Also, I checked my IE settings to ensure images weren't being blocked and downloaded/tried it in Chrome, same thing.

 Regarding the page's content, there's a bunch of unstyled fields and labels, it looks like one of my custom asp.net pages in VS/Design view where something would normally be hidden, but are not.  I coulnd't find a way to attach a screenshot.

I am seeing the same symptoms: .../Install/InstallWizard.aspx is displayed with no styling or images. I can see the text that would otherwise be displayed on the page but none of the functionality works. Did you find a solution to this?

I am doing a fresh install DNN 7.0.2.
OS = Windows 7
IIS = 7.5
App Pool = .Net v4, Integrated
db = SQL Server 2008

Hi,

I ever encountered that problem before and finally foud was the permission issue, the folder of DNN site should set to "Full Control" for Network Service user.

Maybe you can try that.
