After getting the authentication module working along with automatic login, I noticed what I consider to be a problem.  I'm using the blank template that comes with DNN 7 Community Edition and I'm getting two accounts created depending on how I login.  If I automatically login my users (by sending them to ..\DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\ActiveDirectory\WindowsSignin.aspx), I get an account like DOMAIN\User.  If I use the login page, another account is created without the domain name.

Why are there two users being created when I'm using the same credentials in both cases?  Is there any way to prevent this behavior?
