Hi from down under,
I am having a problem that started to appear on my upgraded to Dotnetnuke version 6.2.5 however I am not sure if it was the upgrade that caused the problem.
I have posted this on the community exchange but I decided to post it here because I am looking for someone who could help me understand why changing skin would disable certain links on the main menu submenus.
The problem is this, when I create a new page and is added to the main menu as a sub item it works fine until I changed a setting on the page.

Here is an example:

Pots and Pans  (this main link works fine)
-------- item 1  (this item works fine)
--------item 2   (this item works fine)
--------item 3    (this item is unresponsive to a mouse click)
-------- item 4   (this item works fine)

I have set page skin to the default Dark Night skin and the problem disappears.
What I cannot understand is that if the skin is made up of a series of div tags why changing in would make the main menu submenus unresponsive.

If somebody could point me to a resource that explains how the navigation provider works I may be able to understand this problem and fix it. I do not wish to change the skin that I'm currently using as I am generally satisfied with this performance et cetera.

Surely somebody has come across this somewhere before as I am now having a similar problem on three websites. A local installation and two production sites are displaying this behaviour.

I have been using this particular skin for approximately 9 months and have not had this problem before.
Question: could it be a problem with the database or is it strictly a skin file problem?
Any and all help would be appreciated and I am prepared to put considerable time in resolving this issue.
Thanks in anticipation
regards
Trevor

I had one once, but the wheels fell off !!!
