Afternoon Everyone!
Wanted to see if anybody else has seen this.

We just updated our Events Module to the newest 6.0.4 version.  It seems to have stopped populating the NS Events at a Glance Module (3.5.3).

I've attempted to track down the problem and have come up with this.
It seems like the Events Module insert statement is not populating the following fields with data which seems to be key elements that the NS Events module uses to feed it's display.

EventDateBegin
EventDateEnd
RepeatType
Every
Period

Upon a new event creation those 5 fields are NULL and does not display on the NS Events at a Glance Module.  If I populate those columns with data  the event populates. (see below)

EventDateBegin = date
EventDateEnd = date
RepeatType = 'N'
Every = 0
Period = ''

I tried looking into the Stored Procedure dbo.EventsSave and adding these as parameters but can not seem to get the correct tokens / parameter names to use.

Can someone give me a direction to go in troubleshooting this?

Thanks!

Hi Angela,

Can you tell from which Events version you started the upgrade?

The recurring events got a complete overhaul in order to streamline all event handling, some of the original fields in recurrence are no longer needed for the module.

I do no know what your additonal module does, but cann't you achieve the same thing with the standard Events module?

Hi Ernst -
We ended up finding out that the new update does not use the fields from a dnn rep.  It's not that the standard Events module doesn't work - it does.  However the NS Events at a Glance module is referencing the fields that are no longer populated.  I ended up figuring out a 'work around' to get it to function.

Ok -  another weird thing on the NS Events at a Glance Module
On the Events Module if you click on the 'All Day Event' it displays a day early on the NS Events at a Glance Module.

The only way we've been able to have the dates display correctly is to enter times on the Events Module.  Unfortunately on the Events Module you can only select 30 minute increments.

Has anyone seen this?  Or has a fix?
Thanks!
