There is a script tag referencing ajax.googleapis.com on our site (added by a previous developer?) and I need to remove it. It's not in
- Default.aspx
- any of the skin files

Is there anywhere else someone could hardcode that script tag? It's referencing ver 1.9 which isn't stable (the $.browser() call is causing an error).

Thanks

It is possible that this was added in an HTML module, or in the header or footer of any module. Examination of the page source of a page that includes the script ought to give you hints as to where to look.

Thanks Joe. I just created a new page that doesn't have any modules, and when viewing the source I still see the script tag for ajax.googleapis.com.

I've scoured over every skin file and can't find anything.

Is it possible there is some site setting I don't know about that could do this? It's definitely site wide, regardless of what skin the page is using.

EDIT:

In Host Settings -> Advanced Settings -> jQuery Settings there's an option for "Use Hosted jQuery Version" with a textbox to link to a URL. That Textbox has the URL for ajax.googleapis.com.

I removed the url, unchecked the checkbox, and that did it
