hello,

I have installed and configured the module to use the AD in our organization but the problem i am facing is that i have go to this page /DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx for users to be automatically logged in.

When the users go to the intranet site for example: http://intranet they are taken to the login.aspx page, i want the website to go to the WindowsSignin.aspx instead for auto login.

any suggestions?

Thanks

Mehdi Mirza,

You have to configure the AD provider for Auto-Login. There are some things to take care of, this is the permissions for the WindowsSignin.aspx that you have to set in IIS Manager, the IP addresses for auto-login and the impersonation setting.

Please refer to the documentation at http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/documen...

Best wishes
Michael

I love the module but found that it doesn't auto-login my users every time. To combat this, I added code to a module on my home page that checks the current user. If they aren't logged in, I bounce them to the windowssignin.aspx and that's working out well.

Hi Michael - I have followed all the steps in that document, if i give the windowssignin.aspx url in the browser then i am logged in automatically. The problem is when i type the url www.xyz.com the page redirects to login.aspx instead of windowssignin.aspx
