Hi Everyone,

I recently completed a new website for my company that includes several custom desktop modules I have developed.  We are a manufacturing company and our new site includes an interactive product database.  The product data is all stored in a separate database from DNN and the module that access it works great except....  It appears there are issues under heavy concurrent access - errors regarding sqldatareader not being open when expected etc..  Each time the page is accessed the module is looking up a variety of product attributes and building the page.  I'm thinking depending on timing the same module image is being executing simultaneously by multiple user page requests and this is causing the errors as one request is processing the next request is just a few lines of code behind it.

Is there a way to limit or otherwise manage this.  Am I thinking about this all wrong?

Thanks - Dave

Ahhhhh.

OK, I figured out what was going on. My connection and datareader were declared as PUBLIC so they could be used in both EDIT and VIEW. Changing them to local private declarations fixed the problem.
