No changes have been made to the event queue code.  This issue still exists for the limited number of users who are configured this way.

The work-around  for now is to just delete the event queue messages manually.

Hello John,
This issue (or similar) affect any (custom) scheduled task. When <identity impersonate="true">, any scheduled task trying e.g. to write (or even read) the file system could fail.
I would like to know if there is a bug already opened to fix ("impersonate") this Scheduled issue. If not, should I report it? Anyone (that is. me) can report a bug at http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Main.aspx?
Thank you,
hj.-

Hi hj,

You are correct, the same issue that affects the EventQueue, also affects the scheduler when using identity impersonate = true.

You should search the issues in gemini fiest, but if it issn't there then yes, you should log it.

If you take a look at the following post that I made earlier in this thread you will see a method of working around the issue for the scheduler.

or this thread that I posted on another forum

I was wondering if this EventQueue issue is still going to be there in DNN 4.5 that is due out in March? At the moment I'm having to recreate a version of DNN for my hosting enviroment everytime a new version of DNN is released. Normally, I will not get around to doing it for a month or 2 after a version has been released. However, if it is fixed then I can cease to worry about it :)

Cheers

Ken
