Hi
I am using VS210 pro and DNN7.0

I have installed the compiled c# module template and ran the msbuild tasks msi.
Created  a new project
in case anyone else gets the CBO getpropertyinfo is obsolete  error here is the replacement.
Relace old with this:
Dictionary<string, PropertyInfo> objProperties = CBO.GetProperties<YourInfoName>();
                foreach (KeyValuePair<string, PropertyInfo> entry in objProperties)
                {
                    strContent = strContent.Replace("[" + entry.Value.Name.ToUpper() + "]", Server.HtmlDecode(DataBinder.Eval(e.Item.DataItem, entry.Value.Name).ToString()));
                }
Template could do with being updated????

I have installed all the sql scripts, ran through the prechecks as instructed and built the project in compiled mode but there is no packages created?

In fact there is no sign of any build scripts in the module project?
So far so good but as I want to be able to package these for use in other websites how do I proceeed.

Chris Hammond just released the rewritten template for DNN7... http://christoctemplate.codeplex.com/

Is this the one you are using?

Are you using the Visual Studio Starter Kit? If so, don't bother. Try my templates instead, they actually work ;)

The .9 release is for VS2010, everything since that release is for VS2012

Thanks Chris.
I am certain this was the template I used, however to sure I replaced it, but now when I try to create a project it tells me it that the local IIS URL ####### has not been configured, in order to open this project the virtual directory needs to be configured..

if I choose no...  project creation fails

If yes then this error : creation of the Virtual Directory http://dnndev/desktopmodules/blah failed with the error: could not find the server http:/dnndev on the local machine. this is only supported on the local IIS server.

Any hints?
