Greetings,

Our organization is currently running DNN version 6.2.1 Enterprise for our websites adn we've had reqeusts for workflow to put entire pages into draft, approval etc.  I'm familiar with the workflow built into the HTML Pro Module which includes the abiity to edit/approve at the page level but from what I understand this only updates the HTML Pro Modules on the pages.

The problem we have is for pages that are already been published.  If we start moving modules around into different panes, or update Modules other than HTML Pro, those changes are immediatly viewable to the world.

My questions is whether there some workflow functionality I am missing in DNN 6.2 that would fullfil this requirement?  If not, is that functionality available in 7.X?  I've watched some of the training video on workflow but they are vauge and appear to only work with the HTML Pro Modules.

Thanks

if you are running Enterprise edition, you may use "Content Staging", i.e. a dedicated staging server and a publishing workflow for the site. If you have questions regarding this feature, please contact support at DNN Corp.

Wasn't Content Staging a deprecated feature due to it's limitations with iExportable?

That's what I was told, that content staging was deprecated. Unfortunately we're running in a corporate environment and are having issues coming up with a sufficient solution for publishing content.

Currently we're looking at doing all content changes in production using workflows and then any new page/module stuff will be done on a page that is hidden to the public. Still working on how it is going to work with modifying/adding modules to a page that already exists.

I have yet to find a solution.
