I've read the system requirements and I know it didn't list it.. but I was wondering if anyone else had any experience using it? Or would it totally screw up my install if i connected to it?

Also, I read in Shaun Walkers blog, that DNN 7 would be compatible with Windows Server 2012. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B...

Why is that not listed on the system requirements page for DNN 7.0?  Is it compatible with Windows Server 2012?

Thanks,

Tanya

Tanya,

SQL Server 2005 is not compatible with DNN 7, it needs at least SQL Server 2008.

I did not install it on Windows Server 2012 yet, but as there was no problem in Windows 8, it should work fine.

Best wishes
Michael

Such a bummer because we are currently using SQL Server 2005 on our servers here... the cost to upgrade SQL Server is NOT cheap. Looks like we will be stuck on DNN 6 for awhile..:(

Tanya,

you can use SQL Server Express, or - if this is not enough - SQL Server Web Edition, which is not too expensive.

Best wishes
Michael
