I realize that there is a path to upgrade on the various versions of Community Edition, but my question is does that upgrade path work for the following:

I have DNN Community Edition 06.02.01 (253) and I want to upgrade to DNN 7.00.03 Professional Edition. My company is ready to purchase the license for DNN Professional Edition 7.00.03 but I need to know if the Community Edition upgrade path covers my scenario. Please let me know how to go about doing this.

Also, since this is a big upgrade for our DNN sites, what issues should I know about before I perform this upgrade? What I mean is, what features that function now on the Community will no longer work or will have changed once we upgrade to the Professional Edition? I want to be prepared since I'll be the only one working to get it working after the upgrade and I'm new to DNN but not to programming.

The upgrade from one version of CE to another version of CE, or CE to PE is all the same.

As for what to look for.

Do this all in a test environment first, avoid in production if possible until you have tested you the process.

You'll want to look for skin and layout issues mostly.
