I've set up Google Analytics for my website. I also have the "search input"and "search results" modules on my site. Is it now possible to somehow use Google Analytic to collect and see the terms that people enter?

In Google Analytics you can go to the CONTENT area and see which URLS people are looking at on your website. The Search page uses querystring parameters for the search, so you should be able to see which URLs are being used there to access the SearchResults page and decipher which queries are being used.

Other than that you would likely need to create a custom search input module and add an "event" in Analytics that you can track, that would require some custom jquery.
