I am using dnn7 in my website and it was working fine, but now a days the site start to hang and giving my service unavailable and trying to refresh so many times to open the page, I have contact the host support they told my that the dnn application is eating so many space of server ram and I have to change the host plane to overcome this problem, after changing the host plane the problem has solved for some days and it start again, I contact them again and this what I get please advice.

Hello,

Your application is still hanging.

A process serving application pool 'customerPool_29778' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '280852'.

And the major symptoms it shows before it hangs is a high memory usage.

A worker process with process id of '280852' serving application pool 'customerPool_29778' has requested a recycle because it reached its private bytes memory limit.

I see that you are using DotNetNuke. What modules, themes, and tools did you add as an extra to your DotNetNuke site. It maybe one of those are causing high server memory usage that is causing your web site to hang.

Unfortunately this issue is an issue with the application level. There are no setting we cannot modify on the server that will fix this issue.

I also highly encourage you to post your issue in our community forum: http://forum.winhost.com

Within the forum we have many members that are DNN experts and one of them maybe able to provide you a good and valuable alternative or solution.

Please let me know if you have any further questions,

Are you running a basic DNN website or do you have a lot of modules? We may need more information about your website before we can offer assistance.

You should also check to see if you have Memory or File caching enabled in your host settings (under performance)
