Hi,

I've recently managed to install DNN for the first time (version 7) and now I'm going through setting up a website. One of the things I'd like to have is Windows Authentication, so I installed the ActiveDirectory_05.00.04_Install extension and it seems to work (I can log in as Active Directory user and it registers that user automatically). Automatic logon doesn't work, but what's more annoying is the fact that I cannot disable Standard Login, because I loose access to 'host' account. Now, I've made another user (created through Windows login) the page admin, but as that user I get limited admin permissions, e.g. I can't install new extensions etc. So to have full admin rights, I need to log in with Standard login as host, and so the login page contains two tabs which will be confusing regular users (moreover that Standard login shows up as first tab, and Windows login as second). Can anyone give me some tips what to do with this issue? Optimally I'd like to get full admin access as a custom user so I could remove Standard Login entirely.

Thanks in advance! :]
